Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park has revealed plans to introduce live storytelling for families.

Sea Life Weymouth is offering Monday-Friday story time sessions for parents and toddlers to enjoy for the month of November.

Joining forces with Ladybird, Sea Life aims to bring children’s love of books and stories to life in the unique environment of a sea life aquarium.

Each session will include a fun and interactive reading of a Ladybird story and is a perfect way to introduce the thrill and enjoyment of reading to youngsters.

A variety of aquatic themed stories have been specially selected to be read during the sessions such as: ‘Little World: Under the Sea’ and ‘Topsy and Tim Learn to Swim’. The fun selection of stories aims to promote the enjoyment of reading to the entire family and is guaranteed to bring a smile to children’s faces.

Children will also get a chance to witness the captivating creatures of the deep, watch as a shark swims right past them and can also learn the fascinating facts about each animal.

The fun doesn’t stop there as children will be given colouring sheets and other activities that they can enjoy after they go home. Only two session are on offer per day which means book fans need to snap up a space to the aquarium where amazing discoveries await.

Entry to the park with a storytime sessions slot is £17.50. If you’re an annual pass holder or a season pass holder you can join for £3.

This nostalgic experience is promised to be a treat for both parents and kids.
