THE owner of a pub and hotel in a North Dorset village has been banned from the roads for drink driving.
Keith Johnson, of the Hambro Arms in Milton Abbas, near Blandford, appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court last week to admit the charge.
The 57-year-old was caught behind the wheel of a Volkswagen in Dollins Lane, Wareham on October 24 with 81 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of his breath.
The limit is 35 micrograms.
On Friday, November 1, he was sentenced to a £400 fine and to pay a £40 surcharge and £85 costs. He was also banned from the roads for 20 months.
