POLICE were called after the alarm was raised over the welfare of a woman in Weymouth.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said they were called at around 2.47 this afternoon about concerns for the welfare of a woman on Portland Road in Wyke Regis.
Officers attended the scene, near Wyke Regis Health Centre.
"She is now being given appropriate care," the spokesman said.
