THREE big housing schemes with more than 100 homes between them will be decided by councillors next week.
Weymouth schemes include the former Maiden Street Methodist Church which has been derelict since being damaged by a fire. Twenty five apartments are being proposed with the façade of the historic listed building being largely retained.
Another Weymouth proposal could see 31 flats on the site of 8-10 Dorchester Road, which if approved, will involve the demolition of the existing buildings.
The other large scheme is an outline application for 58 homes on a site north and west of Cockroad Lane at Beaminster, more than a third of the homes ‘affordable’.
The Dorset Council meeting, which is open to the public, will be held at South Walks House, Dorchester at 2pm on Thursday.
