TV and radio presenter Valerie Singleton will be the special guest speaker at this year’s charity Christmas concert hosted by Diverse Abilities.

Taking place on Wednesday, December 18, the event is being held at Wimborne Minster from 6pm until 8pm.

The evening will include performances from local singers, Funky Little Choir, as well as a residents’ choir from Colten Care, event sponsors, who will sing as guests arrive.

Refreshments and mince pies will be available at the drinks reception, with all funds raised from the evening going to Diverse Abilities and its work providing support to children and adults with disabilities across Dorset.

Jon Wheatley, events co-ordinator at Diverse Abilities, said: “We’re really looking forward to this year’s Carol Concert. We have a great line up and being only a week before Christmas, there’s no better way to get into the festive spirit with singing in the historic Wimborne Minster followed by a tasty mince pie!"

Tickets are £15 for adults and £5 for children. To find out more or book tickets online visit diverseabilities.org.uk/carolconcert or call 01202 718266.
