Police and paramedics attended the scene, along with the air ambulance.
Wojciechowski, from West Molesey, Surrey, and Russell, of Beaufoys Close in Ferndown, are also charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving after Heather Grant-Jones - wife of Mr Grant-Jones - Lukasz Mleczek and Pawel Arnista were all left injured following the collision.
Prosecutor Simon Jones is due to open the case today at Bournemouth Crown Court.
The trial is expected to last for up to two weeks.
Presiding judge Stephen Climie warned jurors not to research the case online while the trial is ongoing.
