BBC Antiques Roadshow star Paul Atterbury will be the ‘castaway on a desert island’ at a fundraiser.
He is the guest of the Catholic parish of Our Lady Star of the Sea’s Stella Maris One World Group. This is part of the group’s fundraising activities as a registered charity.
The event, which has been running for a few years and features well-known local people, runs on the same format as the Radio 4 programme and is usually very well received.
The event will take place on Friday, December 6 at St Joseph’s Church Hall, Stavordale Road, 7pm for 7.30pm start. Non-churchgoers are welcome and organisers suggest early booking to avoid disappointment.
Tickets are £10 which includes refreshments and free entry into a star prize draw.
