FRIENDS, families and even dogs are being urged to put their best feet forward and take part in a festive fundraiser

The Santa Stroll takes place around Wimborne on Sunday, December 1, in aid of Forest Holme Hospice Charity in Poole.

Starting and ending at Pamphill Cricket Ground, the leisurely walk will raise vital funds for the organisation's work providing care for patients living with advanced cancer and other life-limiting illnesses across Poole, Wimborne and Purbeck.

Registration for the event is £10 for adults and £5 for children, which includes a Santa hat, with all money raised going towards the £850,000 needed by the charity every year to help enhance the NHS provision at the hospice.

Charlie James, Forest Holme fundraiser, said: "The annual Santa Stroll is always a great social event, with wonderful views and plenty of fresh country air."

To register, visit santastroll2019.eventbrite.co.uk or contact Charlie on 01202 670644 or Charlotte.James@poole.nhs.uk
