I’VE just returned from Weymouth Pavilion after seeing a wonderful show by WOW.
As a former theatre manager in London where I engaged top artistes such as Morecambe and Wise, Eartha Kitt, and many others, I think I am qualified in saying that these youngsters deserve every possible praise and support, and Weymouth should be very proud to have such a talented group.
All praise too to the producers and musicians, and a special tribute to Janet Stockley who, I believe, was the inspiration in forming WOW in the first instance. It’s good to see the Pavilion being run so professionally, and encouraging WOW to use the facilities there to provide such value for money entertainment.
I look forward to their next and future productions, and commend anyone who enjoys real talent to support them.
