MULTI award-winning comic Harriet Kemsley will bring her hilarious stand up show, Slutty Joan, to Dorchester Corn Exchange on Saturday, December 7.

This deeply personal performance sees Harriet delve into her sexual history and reveal tales of her promiscuity and emotional instability.

Mark Tattersall, artistic director at Dorchester Arts, said: "Harriet’s comedy cleverly discusses the pressure on girls to feign modesty and take responsibility for their own safety. Slutty Joan is a lovely show about the gendered politics of promiscuity."

Star of Bobby and Harriet Get Married, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Roast Battle and Comedy Central at The Comedy Store, Harriet started stand up in 2011. Six months later she won the nationwide female comedy competition, Funny's Funny.

2019 has seen Harriet crowned New Act of the Year at both Bath and Brighton comedy festivals.

The performance of Slutty Joan starts at 8pm. Tickets are £12 or £10 for concessions, available from the Dorchester Arts website or box office, or in person from the Corn Exchange.
