Three teams of firefighters were called to a property in Dorchester this morning after a fire broke out in a bedroom.
Two crews from Dorchester and one fire engine from Weymouth attended the incident at about 9.30am today. They were on scene within 10 minutes of the call.
They were alerted after black smoke was reported coming out of a window on the first floor of the property in Coburg Road.
Two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one covering were used to extinguish the blaze.
No-one was hurt.
Crews left the scene at 10.50am.
During this incident another crew from Bere Regis stood by to cover Dorchester Fire Station.
