CONCERNS for the welfare of a man sparked an emergency services alert.
Police were called at 6.57pm yesterday to help located the man, who was on Portland.
After a search, the man was found at about 8.20pm.
The coastguard was also called to assist, but were stood down on route as the man had been found.
