Fire crews were called to a shipping container on fire
TWO fire crews were called out to deal with a shipping container ablaze near a busy Weymouth road.
The incident happened on Chickerell Road, Chickerell and saw two fire engines from the Weymouth station attend the incident.
It was extinguished using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one main jet.
A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that the container was used for storage, however the cause of the incident is unknown.
