POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an altercation in Bridport.
The incident in question reportedly took place on Sunday, December 1 at about 5pm in North Allington.
It is said to involve two women in their 50s who are known to each other, and the altercation reportedly involved one of them carrying a broom.
Police Constable Rebecca Barnes of Bridport police said: "We are continuing to investigate this incident and have spoken to both parties involved. No arrests have been made.
"I am now appealing for any independent witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please contact us."
