Weymouth residents have been warned that roads and farmland could be flooded following heavy rainfall.
A flood alert has been issued for the town, after the Flood Information Service said that river levels have risen at the Broadway river gauge.
A spokesperson for the Service said: "Flooding of roads and farmland is possible. We believe there is a possibility of flooding for the River Wey to Radipole Lake, Preston Brook and River Jordan.
"River levels can rise very quickly in response to heavy rainfall. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences. Please stay aware in case further warnings are issued."
