A DRIVER who passed her test a year ago has been ordered to pay more than £400 for not having insurance.
Dorset Police’s No Excuse Team were out in Swanage yesterday.
The team had been operating in the town for just 20 minutes when they stopped a woman in her car.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said she had no insurance and her vehicle had a bald tyre.
She was given six penalty points on her licence, a fine of £300 as well as a seizure fine of £150.
Police said the DVLA has revoked her licence and she will have to complete an extended re-test.
