ARE you looking to buy greeting cards this Christmas but are worried about the impact on the environment?

If so, then look no further. Edge of Seventeen, a new Weymouth business is owned by Georgina Reynolds, 25, who decided she wanted her venture to have an environmentally friendly ethos.

She said: “My products are simplistic yet stylish.

“I have sourced a great printing company locally who are actively removing carbon emissions from the atmosphere through planting trees back in the UK.

“All materials used are local, recycled and sustainable.”

Georgina says she doesn’t want people to feel like they can’t carry on buying things that make them happy, so made it her mission to make her business as sustainable as possible.

She is planning her first Christmas craft fair tomorrow at Preston Village Hall where there will be a range of products made by local craftspeople to buy.

The craft fair will run from 10am to 2pm and there will be a range of crafts, a festive atmosphere and Christmas nibbles and drinks.

Georgina added: “It would be great for you to gather your friends and family to come along and support local crafters and local businesses.”
