As you walk around the shops enjoying the sights just make a note of how many shop doors are wedged open all day.

There are so many, and the heat being used to keep their customers warm is pushed out into the atmosphere and contributing to global warming - what a huge waste of electricity.

In New York their shops have been banned from leaving doors wedged open during winter for many years.

It would be a great help to the climate if our shops did likewise.
