A woman was rescued from Durdle Door Beach after she became unwell and required medical attention.
Lulworth Coastguard Rescue Team were in action yesterday after they were asked by the ambulance service to help them with an incident at Durdle Door.
The woman was ill and required assistance so, with the help of paramedics, she was walked up the steps and given a lift back to the car park in the coastguard's rescue vehicle.
With the lady safely in the back of the ambulance the coastguard team stood down and returned to their station.
