DRIVERS are being warned of delays along a busy route near Weymouth's Granby Industrial Estate as gas works resume.
Roadworks and temporary lights have been in place at the Chickerell end of B3157 Chickerell Road so that SGN Gas can carry out essential work to renew a gas main.
Work has been put on hold during the festive period but contractors were due to return today (Friday January 3), with drivers being told to anticipate delays.
According to Dorset Council's Travel Dorset service, the initial phase of works will require temporary lights at the junction with Chickerell Link Road by the army camp.
SGN said the project is due to finish on Friday, March 6 2020.
