TWO men were arrested following reports of intruders wearing masks and carrying torches in the back gardens of properties.
Police received a call just before 6pm yesterday reporting intruders seen in back gardens in West Street, Corfe Castle.
A spokesman for Purbeck Police said: "Officers from Swanage, Wareham and Poole, assisted by a Dog Unit and the Police helicopter searched the area.
"Two males were seen and stop checked by officers in Colletts Close.
"Following searches numerous items were found and subsequently both were arrested."
