IT WAS wonderful to see Bailey Johns looking so well and healthy on the front page of the Dorset Echo (December 30).
I first met Bailey and his lovely, supportive family at our annual Moose charity cheque presentation night last March.
Every year we hold a variety of events which raise funds which we donate to deserving local organisations and individuals.
Last year we were able to donate over £3,000 to these causes, amongst which was Bailey.
The stem cell procedure and treatment was to be carried out in Oxford.
Our donation helped his family with travel expenses, in order to be with him, as Bailey also has two younger brothers.
We, at Moose, are proud and delighted that we could help in a small way to give him (in his own words) “almost a new lease of life”.
We wish him and his family A happy, healthy new year.
