McCartney - The Songbook comes to Weymouth Pavilion on Tuesday, January 21 at 7.30pm.
From the producers behind smash hit shows That’ll Be The Day and Walk Right Back, this show celebrates a true icon through one of history’s most impressive musical legacies.
Starring Joe Kane (Let It Be – West end and Touring, Cavern Club, Bootleg Beatles), this production follows Sir Paul’s prolific career, from The Beatles and beyond, creating the ultimate McCartney experience.
Joe is thrilled to be coming to theatres in 2020 to showcase the amazing songbook of McCartney’s career and share his tales of life on the road.
Act One explores life after The Beatles, with Wings classics Band On The Run, Maybe I’m Amazed and Silly Love Songs, as well as flashbacks to his days in the Fab Four. Part Two is a hard hitting, McCartney-style stadium show featuring all of the best loved hits.
With impressive costume and authentic instrumentation complete with a fantastic live band, McCartney - The Songbook features more than 40 monster hits including Band On The Run, Can’t Buy Me Love, Yesterday, Live and Let Die, Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and Hey Jude and many more.
