IN REPLY to Geraldine Arnold, as someone who lives on High Street, Wyke Regis, I have complained many, many times about school parking.

I’ve been told to see the local community police officer – never seen one in the ten years I’ve lived there.

When the parking warden does come, which is very rare, they do nothing – just stand there, so people park as they should until the next day and it’s back to normal.

I always thought it was an offence to park on the footpath. I could make a fortune on West Bay Crescent.

At school times people need to be booked and maybe they will learn.
