Drivers can expect delays over the coming weeks as a number of roadworks are planned.

Those driving in and around Lyme Regis are advised to take note of the various works scheduled when they plan their journeys.

The works include:

  • Anning Road (January 17 to January 27) - some incursion into the carriageway as SGN carries out works.
  • Bridge Street (January 6 to January 17) - traffic diversion as O'Brien Building Ltd repairs a window damaged by a high-sided vehicle.
  • Bridge Street (January 6 to February 10) - two-way signals while Western Power Distribution carries out works.
  • Marine Parade (January 15 to January 23) - some incursion into the carriageway while SGN connect a property.
  • Cobb Road (January 7 to February 7) - two-way signals while SGN upgrades its gas network.
  • Cobb Road (January 14 - January 15) - traffic control (give and take) while Dorset Council carries out works at the enterance to the sea front.
  • Broad Street (January 10 to January 14) - traffic control (give and take) as South West Water carries out works.
  • Broad Street (January 6 to February 10) - two-way signals while Western Power Distrubution carries out works.
  • Broad Street (January 23 to January 24) - traffic control (give and take) as BT carries out works.
  • Sherborne Lane (January 6 to February 10) - road closure as Western Power Distribution carries out works.
  • Silver Street (January 6 to February 10) - some incursion into the carriageway as Western Power Distribution carries out works.
  • Silver Street (January 13 to January 17) - multi-way signals while BT carries out works.
  • Pound Street (January 13 to January 17) - multi-way signals while BT carries out works.
