ARE you determined to improve your photography this year?
Brush up your skills at an unusual (and free) community event this month that's being planned by two professional photographers.
Nicki FitzGerald and Jodie House will lead an informal 'photo walk' around Weymouth on Saturday 18 January to help people learn how to spot interesting photo opportunities - regardless of what camera you own.
Residents of all abilities and ages are welcome to take part in the friendly event - bring a camera or your smartphone to learn how to use it to capture interesting shots. Nicki FitzGerald said: "We have experts in both DSLR and Smartphone photography but most of all it’s about learning to spot interesting photo opportunites regardless of what camera you own.
"We hope to see you there - and don’t forget to charge your camera and make sure you have plenty of storage space."
The group will meet at Coffee #1, St Mary Street in Weymouth town centre at 3pm on Saturday January 18. The event should last around two - three hours.
