JOURNEY through the entirety of classic sitcom Friends as seen by chief barista Gunther.

Direct from a sold-out Edinburgh Fringe premiere, see Friend (The One with Gunther) at the Corn Exchange, Dorchester, on Saturday, January 25 at 7.30pm.

One man, 10 seasons, one hour! The entirety of Friends will be reimagined by acclaimed comic Brendan Murphy (recent credits include the Las Vegas season of Olivier Award nominee hit Potted Potter, Best of Edinburgh winning parody The Crown Dual and improv comedy classic Battleacts.

Dorchester Arts’ artistic director Mark Tattersall said: “It’s quite remarkable how Brendan squeezes so many iconic Friends moments into his one hour on stage. It is a highly interactive show that is littered with catchphrases, so will appeal to all fans of Friends.”

It’s been 25 years since the Friends pilot was filmed and still it looms large as one of the most successful television shows of all time. Translated into various languages and airing in more than 50 different countries, rarely has a show had such global appeal. After it arrived on Netflix on New Year’s Day 2018, it became the most-streamed show on the internet.
