The road has reopened after a fire at a bakery.
The A3052 between Lyme Regis and Colyford wass closed in both directions from Combpyne Lane to Trinity Hill Road.
Up to 10 appliances, including crews from Bridport, responded to the scene at Rousdon Village Bakery after a fire spread from the adjoining garage.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to the bakery at around 8.40am and there were up to 10 appliances at one stage, it has been scaled back now.
"Smoke and flames were issuing from the building and there was one person inside who managed to escape before we arrived.
"Its a three-storey building comprising a bakery and garage workshop. The fire started in the workshop and spread to the bakery.
"We are still on the scene but we are starting to scale back now."
