Firefighters were called out to a crash near Sherborne
A WARNING about black ice has been issued by the fire service following a crash involving a 4x4 vehicle.
A crew of firefighters was called out at around 7.04am to reports of a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a 4x4 and trailer at Dyke Head, Longburton in north Dorset.
A spokesman from Sherborne Fire Station said that no-one was trapped in the vehicle.
"Crews ensured the vehicle, scene and occupant were safe leaving," the spokesman added.
"Please take extra care on side roads and black ice during the cold weather."
