Police discovered suspected Class A drugs after stopping a woman in Weymouth Picture: DORSET POLICE
A woman has been arrested after she was found in possession of suspected Class A drugs.
A member of the public alerted police to suspicious behaviour on King Street, Weymouth, on Friday.
Officers from Blue Squad stopped a 50-year-old woman for a drug search and a number of wraps of what are believed to be Class A drugs were recovered.
She was subsequently arrested and taken into custody whilst further enquiries are conducted.
Police say they rely on information from the public to work effectively and urge anyone with information to report it by calling 101, or by visiting dorset.police.uk.
