POUNDBURY Road in Dorchester will be closed to traffic from tomorrow while Wessex Water work on installing a new sewage main.
The closure will involve a 100-metre section between the junction with Normandy Way down the hill to the Railway Triangle junction.
A diversion will be in place using Bridport Road, the Grove, the B3147, the A37 and the Bradford Peverell to Poundbury Road, although most local drivers will be able to work out much shorter routes, depending on their destination.
Wessex Water anticipates the work will be completed by February 11.
