PETROLHEADS will gather at a Dorset beauty spot to help raise money for people affected by sight loss.

Dorset Blind Association’s prestigious Motor Show will return to Lulworth Castle on Sunday, May 3.

This year promises to be bigger and better than ever – with flashy cars and motorbikes on show.

The event will start at 10.30am with a 20-mile classic and sports car tour across the Dorset countryside from the Lulworth Estate.

Meanwhile the castle showground will be open to the general public from 11am.

Alongside the showground will be a family fun day offering stalls, live performances, a kid’s fun area and a wide selection of food and refreshments, catering for vegetarian and vegans too.

A spokesman for Dorset Blind Association said: “We are grateful to be given the opportunity to host the only motor show at Lulworth Castle, offered to us by the president and owner of the Lulworth Estate, James Weld.

“This event is hugely popular among car owners and is always very quick to sell out. Last year, the fantastic event was attended by more than 200 cars and 3,500 people, raising a phenomenal £8,200 for the charity.”

Do you own a classic, sports or other motor vehicle and would like to be part of the Dorset tour and showground display? Entry is only £10 per person which includes tour entry and route information, showground display, bacon roll and hot drink at registration, exclusive entry to Lulworth Castle plus one free raffle ticket. Registration is from 9:00am, but all participants must book in advance before 1st April.

Be in with a chance to win a weekend test drive of the latest BMW, plus two more fantastic prizes, tickets £1 each or £5 for a book of 5, to be purchased on the day. The raffle will be drawn at 3pm on Sunday 3rd May. Terms and conditions apply.
