A WEYMOUTH restaurant in Gloucester Street could be converted into a home.
An application has been submitted to Dorset Council for a change of use to No 10, which is currently vacant. It was last used as a Thai restaurant.
The site is part of a four storey end terrace corner block of flats which lies within the town conservation area. The owners say they want to convert the former restaurant into a two bedroom flat with minimal internal changes and no material alterations to the outside. The rear yard of the building will be used for rubbish and recycling bins and bicycle storage.
The application is delegated to a planning officer with public comments on the proposal open until February 26.
