THE famed Dorset Police Male Voice Choir will be performing in Poundbury on March 7 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. It takes place at Dorchester Community Church based on Poundbury on Peverell Avenue East. The event starts promptly at 7.30pm.
The choir will be supported by Dorset for Singing. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available. There will be a raffle and all the proceeds from the event will go to Macmillan Cancer Support and other Rotary Charities. The event is sponsored by The Flooring Shop, based in Poundbury.
Tickets are just £8.00 and available from the Post Office on Poundbury based at the Buttermarket, as well as the Café on the Green, off the Bridport Road on Poundbury near to the fountain. The tickets are also available by contacting the website
