A man accused of raping a schoolgirl has appeared in court.
Adrian Cordery, aged 32, of Dorchester, appeared at Weymouth Magistrates Court today.
He has been charged with raping a 15-year-old girl.
The incident is alleged to have occurred at around 9.20pm on Thursday, December 5, in a field at St Osmund’s School in Barnes Way.
Due to the severity of the incident, an indictable-only offence, Cordery cannot enter a plea at magistrates court.
Therefore, the case has been sent to Bournemouth Crown Court.
Magistrates made the decision not to grant bail to Cordery.
