SEVERAL flood warnings remain in place throughout Dorset in the wake of Storm Dennis over the weekend.
The county took a pounding from the elements this weekend as Storm Dennis tore through the area.
The Met Office issued weather warnings to members of the public advising them of the risks posed by the harsh weather.
While there are no weather warning in place for Dorset as of this morning, several Environment Agency flood warnings and alerts remain in force.
The Met Office forecast also says that Dorset can still expect more wet weather this week.
Flood warnings, declare the flooding is expected and action is required, are in place for the following Dorset areas:
Groundwater flooding for the Devils Brook
Groundwater flooding for the Hooke
Groundwater flooding for the Iwerne
Groundwater flooding for the Piddle Valley
Groundwater flooding for the South Winterbourne Valley
Lower Frome from Dorchester to East Stoke
Lower Frome from East Stoke to Wareham
Middle Stour from Hammoon to Sturminster Marshall
Rivers Stour and Iwerne at Stourpaine
Upper Frome at Maiden Newton
