A person was taken to hospital after fire crews forced their way into a home to help.
Firefighters were called to a house on Portland at about 4.50pm yesterday to help paramedics get inside.
Due to the nature of the incident, firefighters forced entry through a window.
One casualty was found and the fire crews assisted the ambulance staff with casualty care and transportation to the ambulance.
The casualty was then taken to the hospital and the firefighters returned to Portland Fire Station.
