‘The show must go on!’

The performance of Who Am I? which was set to be held at the Lyric Theatre in Bridport tonight will be performed at the art centre instead due to 'electrical problems'.

The performance will also be taking place at the earlier time of 7pm.

A spokesman for The Lyric Theatre said: “Due to an electrical problem tonight’s performance has been moved to Bridport Arts Centre with an earlier start time of 7pm.

“We are so touched that Bridport Arts Centre has stepped in and offered to host the show tonight in the spirit of - ‘The show must go on!’

“We apologise for any inconvenience and hope that everyone can rally around and come and support these incredible artists who have travelled to bring their genius to us here in Bridport.”

Who Am I? is an interdisciplinary performance about identity, notions of home, migration and memory using movement, spoken word, film and music.

Through a myriad of ways, the piece confronts the landscape of our physical and metaphysical reality as well as the mythical nuances of our past.

Developed in collaboration with sound artist Tunde Jegede and performed by Sunara Begum.
