LITTLE Troopers, the military children’s charity, held a community fundraising event in Lulworth.

Military families from Bovington and Lulworth joined in a fun afternoon of face painting, crafts, colouring, a bake sale and a raffle.

The event raised more than £100 for the charity and was part of Little Troopers’ annual ‘Fundraise February’ initiative. Every penny raised will go towards supporting children who have parents in the British Armed Forces.

Louise Fetigan, who lives in Lulworth and is the founder of Little Troopers, said: “It was great to see so many families from the military community come together for this event. Even the smallest of donations makes a big difference and enables us to continue our work helping all the special Little Troopers out there.”

Little Troopers is a registered charity offering support and resources for all UK military children and their families. The charity’s initiatives include a free storytime app developed in collaboration with Harper Collins and called The Little Troopers Treasures App, as well as a range of online support and resources to help families cope with separation and other challenges unique to military life.
