OFFICERS are appealing for witnesses to come forward following the theft of a bike.
The bike, which is said to be a GT Avalanche bike with a black frame, green writing and blue stripes, reportedly was stolen from an address in Stourpaine some time between 7.00am and 7.00pm on Thursday, February 20.
Police Constable Neil Hawkes, of North Dorset police, said: "I am appealing to anyone who may have seen the bike for sale in unusual circumstances to please come forward.
"I would also like to hear from members of the community who may have seen any suspicious activity during the relevant timeframe."
