DANCE the night away and help raise funds for the Wessex Folk Festival with a Spring Ceilidh at Osmington Village Hall on Saturday, March 7 at 7.30pm.
This Wessex Folk Festival and Osmington Music event will feature music from the Tree Fellahs, a loose arrangement of traditional style musicians, with Mike McDaid (piano accordian) and Paul Openshaw (guitar) at the core.
They combine their talents to play at ceilidhs, festivals, pubs and parties. Something more than 'just a ceilidh band', their music is 'guaranteed to give your spirits a lift, and to set your feet tapping'.
The caller will be Teresa Rabbetts and a chilli supper will be included in the ticket price. There will be a bar and free parking. This event is a fundraiser for the folk festival, which runs against the spectacular backdrop of the beautiful Weymouth Harbour and is one of the largest free festivals in the UK. It will take place on May 29, 30 and 31.
*Spring Ceilidh, Osmington Village Hall, Saturday, March 7, 7.30pm. Tickets cost £9.50 to include a chilli supper (vegetarian and non-chilli options). Tickets can be bought from 07816 832554 or online at wegottickets.com/event/497263
