A MAN who claims his skin cancer and arthritis were cured by Jesus has released a book.

Mike Robinson, who is a regional director of Healing Rooms in the South West, has written a book called Swordtalk.

The book is entirely handwritten and illustrated by Mike, who lives in Weymouth.

He sees it as a testament to Jesus for healing his arthritic hands and skin cancer.

Mike said: “I had severe arthritis in my hands and at one time couldn’t hold a pen.

“Then God came and healed me, so I started to write down my testimony of healing and it developed into a book.

“The thing that’s different about it, is that the font style is my handwriting, which changes, this proves that at one stage I couldn’t hold a pen.

“What’s interesting is that my handwriting gets a lot better towards the end of the book.

“The whole point is that people can read it and learn how healing works.”

Mike says he had little faith before he witnessed God’s healing

“If we are true followers of Jesus, we’re supposed to do what he did on earth, like heal the sick” he said.

Mike also had skin cancer in his right hand. He explained: “A number of people were doing the stuff that’s in this book, so praying for me, and by the time I got to see the surgeon at Dorchester County Hospital, my skin cancer was gone.

“The surgeon asked me - ‘where did it go?’ - and extraordinarily in the area of my hand where the skin cancer had been, a cross appeared.

“For me it was like God’s thumbprint on my hand. Some people might say skin cancer can disappear, but they can’t argue when a cross was in its place.

“I tried to explain to the surgeon that God is still alive and in the business of healing. He works through those who love and follow him.

“The word of God - the Bible - is God’s medicine, I call it the Gospill.”

The objective of the book is to help people to be healed and get to know Jesus.

Money from the book’s sale will go towards local churches and the Healing Rooms.

Mike will be going into local churches to talk about healing and about Swordtalk and pray for the sick when he’s invited to do so.

Swordtalk will be published by WestBow press in the USA, who are part of the Thomas Nelson and Zondervan publishing group.
