NUTRITIONIST Barbara Cox launched a breakfast menu at The Green House Hotel in Bournemouth.

Local businessmen and women were invited to the hotel's Arbor restaurant to taste the menu, which was created by internationally renowned nutritionist Barbara and head chef Andy Hilton.

The morning started with attendees enjoying a talk from Barbara about how to fuel your day with the correct foods, she discussed the benefits of an anti-inflammatory diet and how choosing this diet can help the body fight illnesses and prevent more serious conditions.

Guests then had a delicious buffet style breakfast including, homemade spelt and quinoa croissants, overnight oats with blueberries and raspberries, paleo granola and fresh fruit platters.

Barbara said: “Fruits such as kiwis are packed full of vitamin C, this should be a vital part of your morning routine, you’ll feel a boost of energy and you’ll be protecting yourself against office colds! Mango is another key fruit that helps to not only boost your mood, alleviate stress levels in the workplace but it also encourages digestion. I’ve also chosen to include paleo granola in the breakfast menu, which is rich in protein and omegas.”

Olivia O’Sullivan, general manager at the hotel, said: “We encourage businesses to enjoy the delicious menu choices from the Arbor restaurant and now businesses have the option of focussing on their team’s health and wellbeing with Barbara during their corporate functions. Heavy breakfasts and lunches can make you feel tired and lethargic but healthier alternatives with the right types of energy can really make the difference between an unproductive and a productive corporate event. We want to make sure businesses get the best from their time with us and these new wellness corporate packages will ensure their employers are fuelled for a successful (and tasty!) day!”
