Police patrolling Purbeck today said they were 'very disappointed' to see a clear number of people out and about near the area's beauty spots.

A spokesman said: "We are out on patrol today and it is very disappointing to see that there are still a clear number of people who have not seemed to have heard the governments guidance with regards to staying at home unless it is absolutely necessary.

"Please do not visit beauty spots to go for a walk as your exercise should be as close to home as possible. It is a hard time for us all but please listen."
