The total number of people to have died from coronavirus in the UK is 759.
As of 9am today, a total of 113,777 people have been tested, of which 14,543 were confirmed positive.
As of 5pm last night, 759 patients in the UK who tested positive for Covid-19 have died.
The figures for test results and for deaths are compiled from different sources, which is why the figures for deaths are reported from an earlier point in time than the figures for test results.
It's the sharpest daily rise after the previous day saw the death toll reach 578.
