TWO dangerous dogs and a quantity of suspected drugs have been seized during a raid.
Officers from Bridport police carried out a drugs warrant on Thursday, March 26, at an address in the St Swithins Road area of Bridport.
A search of the premises was carried out and a quantity of suspected drugs was seized. Two dangerous dogs were also seized.
A local man aged in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A and being the owner of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.
He has since been released under investigation as police continue to make enquiries.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "Local officers are committed to tackling suspected drug-related offences and are indebted to members of the public for providing information that helps to build an intelligence picture."
