I live in Preston where several homes are used as holiday homes.

I am aware of two instances of owners driving to Dorset to stay in their holiday homes since the initiation of the lock down by the Prime Minister.

This non-essential travel is in direct contravention of the lock down terms, and ethos.

Can anything be done to stop this selfish behaviour which increases the risk to us all and undermines the efforts of the Government to deal with this dreadful situation?

Most people in the area seem to be adhering to the rules and trying to do their best during these difficult times but with the Easter weekend almost upon us, more people from areas with higher incidences of infection could be planning to visit sunny Dorset and put us all at risk.

It's not easy for any of us but is certainly better when we all work together towards a common goal.
