More than 200 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Dorset overall.

According to the latest figures from the Department of Health, there are 31 confirmed new cases in the Dorset Council area, bringing the total to 126. 

There are 30 new cases in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area, bringing the total number to 115. 

Overall, there are 241 confirmed cases in the county. 

As of 9am today, in the UK, 208,837 people have been tested, of whom 51,608 tested positive.

As of 5pm last night, of those hospitalised in the UK who tested positive for coronavirus, 5,373 have died.

The figures for test results and for deaths are compiled from different sources, which is why the figures for deaths are reported from an earlier point in time than the figures for test results.
