I AM writing to you as a self employed business owner in Lulworth Cove - I have an ice cream kiosk and takeaway which is currently closed due to the coronavirus.

The Easter bank holiday was very busy here but with a high police presence many travellers were sent away.

However from Saturday, April 18, we have again seen cars visiting Lulworth, parking anywhere (blocking our drive and garage), and people walking around and sunbathing on the beach.

I understand that the lockdown laws have not been relaxed but why are we being targeted as an easy touch with people visiting Lulworth from Bournemouth, Southampton and London.

If this is the case businesses might as well open if the UK people aren’t going to behave in the manner that has been requested from the government.

Stay home, stay safe.
