A WOMAN was trapped in her car after it overturned on the A35.

Emergency services were called to reports of the crash near Morden Park Corner at 12.27pm yesterday.

There were reports of traffic building up in both directions due to police road closures.

The woman in the white Ford Fiesta was freed by the fire service and received treatment from paramedics.

A Dorset Police spokeswoman said: "We were called at 12.27pm on Friday, May 1, to a report of a single vehicle collision on the A35 at Morden Park Corner.

"It was reported that a vehicle had overturned and a woman was trapped.

"Officers attended, along with the fire service, who assisted in releasing the woman from the car.

"The ambulance service was also in attendance and treated the woman for minor injuries."
